iPad picture dump

I came in the bedroom one day and found Lance with the electrical tape. I love Lexie's face in this picture!
The kids got lots of treat for Valentine's day. Daddy got them each a giant pillow. Lance's has planes on it and Lexie has the little mermaid.
We had tons of fun make each other Valentine's day cards.
Lance spelling "To Dad" all by himself
Making a fort is one of our favorite things to do on bitter cold days.
While walking through the fruit department Lance noticed a weird looking fruit so we bought us a pomegranate to try. Lance had so much fun picking out all the seeds. The kids liked the taste too.
And yes, that is a kiddie pool behind Lance. It is for when the puppies arrive which could be any day now!

Aurora Hunting

Living in Fairbanks we get to experience the Northern Lights quite often. Everyone that lives here has notifications on their phone so we know when to be on the look out. It's pretty upsetting to wake up in the morning only to find out your missed an awesome show.
Last night it was predicted to have a great show. I messaged a few other mommas if they wanted to head just north of town with me. We all put our babies to bed and was off.
We could see the Aurora even in town with all the lights so we knew we were in for a good show.
We were not disappointed! My friend Ashley is a photographer so I was super excited to get some pointers from her. Her pictures have the Applegum on them
It was pretty amazing! Our Creator sure knew what He was doing!
We even seen two shooting stars!
It was totally worth enduring the -8 degree weather!!!

Photo Dump from Andrew's phone

Look at that face!! He loves it!

My Valentine's Presents from Andrew. Nyquil and Flowers. Andrew knew just what I needed! He did bring me a Resees too and he bought me an ipad, which I will have to do a post later from the ipad Pictures.

Catch up

I have been having some technical difficulties lately with my phone and the internet. My phone keep saying the storage is full even though I have nothing on it. It is soooooo annoying!!! I haven't been able to take any pictures or even update the blog. Another issue I am having is the internet. I have been forced to using my laptop and Andrew's internet which is incredibly slow!!

This is all the latest happening for the last month.
* Dance class is still going good for Lexie. She loves the ballet part allot better than the tap part.

* Lexie had her 2 year check up. She is in the 90 percentile for height and weight
the kids both caught up on shots. It was pretty traumatic, but we survived!

* Lance started Soccer. He has practices on Friday night and games on Saturday morning. He is doing really well. He mainly just runs around with a smile on his face, but he is happy and having fun and that's what matters.

* Happy's puppies should be arriving in around 2 weeks!!! She is getting bigger with each passing day and we can feel the puppies through her skin!!!

* nothing too exciting is going on. We have just been enjoying lots of family time and a couple trips to Chena Hot Springs. Both the kids LOVE going swimming there. Lexie even draws pictures of hot springs.

* The days are getting LONGER!! Daylight last from around 8am to 5 pm now! It is so nice to see the sun rising above the trees and shining through the windows once again! God is good!

Seattle trip

I'm not a city girl, like I don't ever want to live in a big city again. I could care less about sky scrapers or sculptures. I am a nature lovin fool! Once in a while though I get to fly to a city and explore it a little all by myself!
This past weekend I flew to Seattle to attend Pampered Chef's spring launch called the feast. I was super excited for this trip. I landed in Seattle Friday at 1:30 then went and got my rental car. Yep that's right I got a rental car. Why is this a big deal? Well, where I grew up there is only 1 blinking red light that no one even pays attention too. Most of my family don't drive in big cities. Heck, some don't even drive at all. So for me to drive in a big city like Seattle is a big deal!  After picking up my car I drove back to the airport to pick up my friend, old neighbor in Eagle River and a Pampered Chef team mate, Robyn. She was my co pilot. We did great getting around the city! We found our hotel in Bellevue near the convention center and rested for a bit and got settled in.
Later an old friend from Southeast Missouri, Mary, and her sweet little girl joined Robyn and I at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. O my goodness! The food was amazing and so was the company. We had so much fun catching up!!! After dinner we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert then back to the hotel to hang out.
I went to bed stuffed and ready for the next day.
Saturday was a truly awesome day. Robyn and I got checked in at the conference and then was seated in a special reserved seating area!
There was a couple other empty reserved seating next to us. I kept texting my director telling her that Doris Christopher was going to be there. Little did I know that I was right on the money!
Just minutes into Feast and they said they had a very special guest, the very first Pampered Chef consultant!!! Doris Christopher is the founder of Pampered Chef. She started this all! She has changed so many lives! At each event there is someone who gives a testimony of how Pampered Chef has changed their life. At this particular event in Bellevue I was to be that guest speaker!

When Doris walked out on stage the crowd went wild. Well over 1,000 people jumped to their feet and cheered. Out of all 18 feast locations, Doris was at OUR location!!
I loved hearing Doris talk. I was truly starstruck! She even sat at the table with me!
I was having a blast the whole day. We had a great lunch socializing with other Pampered Chef consultants! Then it hit me, "I was next!" I had forgotten all about speaking! My heart was literally pounding. I took a few deep breathes, waited to be introduced and walked out on stage. Wow! Talk about an adrenaline rush.
My speech went great! I had everyone laughing and even a few crying by the end. At the end I looked over at Doris Christopher. Sge stood up along with the whole entire room and cheered! Wow! I am so honored to have shared my story with so many people and with the founder herself!

A couple days later I even received this nice Facebook message!

After the conference was over I headed a couple hours North of Bellevue near Bellingham to attend my niece, Addylynne's 1st birthday party. I had so much fun staying with my Matt, Stephanie and Addylynne. Saturday night we celebrated Addy's birthday then Sunday they showed me all around their town. It was so pretty! It wasn't at all what I expected. There was lots of farms and mountains.
My weekend went by so quick! I enjoyed every minute of it. I did miss the kids and Andrew though. I love how I get home and no one has missed me. I am completely okay with that though. They have so much fun with daddy and that makes me so happy! I love knowing that I can leave for a couple days and not worry one bit if the kids are okay or not. Andrew is the best dad and so supportive! I thank God for him! He has given me the perfect soul mate!
