Sizzle

Tuesday I ran around like crazy trying to get everything ready for my trip to Minneapolis for Pampered Chef's leadership conference, Sizzle. I was so nervous about being away from the kids for so long. I knew they'd be fine since they would be home with daddy, but I was feeling guilty for leaving.
We went out for a nice dinner before heading to the airport. Andrew and the kids dropped me off at the doors. Lance was so excited to see me leave. He couldn't wait to spend the next few days with daddy. Lexie was asleep so I didn't  hear anything from her.

My flights all went great. I flew to Anchorage then to Seattle then to Minneapolis. I was able to get in lots of naps so I was feeling pretty good.i met my director, Carol, and a couple other Pampered Chef ladies at the airport. We headed to our hotel then on to Mall of America. I enjoyed having a nice evening of shopping and dinner with just the gals.
Sizzle lasted Thursday- Saturday. We heard from motivational speakers, Bonnie St.John
and Jon Gordon. They were amazing. They were so inspiring and had some amazing advice for our businesses but also our lives.
Sizzle is also a chance for recognition. Friday morning was all about the new directors. We had a new directors breakfast and time with our National Executive directors which is the highest level a Pampered Chef consultant can achieve.
We then did our new director march across stage. I was so excited when they called my name. I had worked so hard for my title. I waved my red scarf around and let out a big "wahoo" which is a favorite word in the Pampered Chef business.
Next year I plan to walk the stage as an Advanced Director!
That week they also recognized people for having high sales and also for recruiting. It was so inspiring to watch as these amazing women (and a few men) walk the stage an think "that's gone be me one day!"
We heard some amazing stories about how Pampered Chef has changed the lives of people. One lady spoke of how her Pampered Chef business brought her family out of poverty. They were on food stamps and welfare, but unlike most people in that situation she wanted to better her family and get off of government assistance. There were so many inspiring stories of how Pampered Chef changes lives! For me, I feel Pampered Chef has gave me so much confidence and A life outside of being a mom and housewife. It has helped me make so many friends. I love working for this amazing company! I had an amazing time this week.
The week was also filled with gifts. i received a wristlet purse, a red scarf, a red spatula, and jewelry!!! pc also had some awesome giveaways. one woman won a $5,000 kitchen makeover, another a $5,000 personal makeover complete with a shopping assistant, and two women won a $3,000 electronic makeover! The energy in the room was amazing!!!
Pampered Chef had allot of entertainment for us too. The all that cloggers from America's got talent were my favorite!! Friday night we had a wonderful dinner reception! It was beautiful. I felt like I was at a fancy wedding! We even had a dance.
I called Andrew Friday night and the first thing he said was "you need to get a full time job so I can stay home!" I was overjoyed to hear those words. He had such a great time with the kids. They really enjoyed being with daddy too. I wasn't missed at all!!
I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband who is so supportive and an amazing dad! I thank God for this amazing man and for the Pampered Chef opportunity!!

I can't wait for what's to come!

Me, my director Carol and Carol's director Jane
